Postnatal Yoga focuses on strengthening the muscles after pregnancy and connecting back to your core. It’s a great chance to meet other mothers. The class can be used as a continuation after completing a Rückbildung Kurs with your Hebamme, or as a bridge between the time after the Wochenbett and Rückbildung.
I recommend waiting until at least 6-8 weeks after the birth, dependent on the birth. Please check with your doctor or midwife before joining.
We focus on breathing as well as exercises to strengthen all those areas that we need to after giving birth. You will feel like you have had a good workout at the end of the class and in most classes we manage to get a few moments of stillness.
You are welcome to bring your babies with you.
